A vintage costume jewellery necklace featuring Venetian? style lampwork glass beads. The necklace is composed of twelve large, round black glass beads, each decorated in the wedding cake style with applied gilt-metal effect foil bands, pink glass rose-shaped lampwork blossoms, and raised dots in red and light blue glass. Each glass bead is supported by ornate gilt-metal effect filigree caps at the poles. The larger beads are separated by small gold-toned faux pearl? spacers. The construction appears to be on aged thread or wire. The necklace is secured with a gilt-metal effect barrel screw clasp. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the clasp or the components.
