A mid-century modern circular sewing stool? featuring a padded, upholstered exterior and a tri-leg support system. The cylindrical body is covered in a heavy woven tapestry fabric decorated with a repeating pattern of floral sprigs in pink, yellow, blue, and green on a cream ground. The removable lid is fitted with a central silver-toned metal ring pull. Internally, the stool contains a white moulded plastic storage tray with four integrated compartments for haberdashery items, including a larger central section and three peripheral partitions. The stool is raised on three tapered wooden legs finished in a cream-coloured paint. There are no legible maker marks or labels present on the exterior or the interior plastic components.
