A collection of terracotta and glazed earthenware garden planters in varying forms and finishes. The group includes several standard tapered terracotta pots showing characteristic mineral deposits and surface abrasions from use. One tapered cylindrical pot features a blue painted or slip finish over a terracotta body with significant surface loss. The decorative elements of the collection consist of three nested planters: a large stoneware? pot with a buff-coloured exterior and a brown glazed rim; a bulbous, ribbed planter featuring a reactive drip glaze in shades of amber, green, and brown; and a tapered green-glazed pot with an embossed foliate scroll pattern around the body. The vessels are designed for functional garden or conservatory use and lack visible maker marks or signatures.
