The rectangular vessel features hand-laced whip-stitching in black leather along the outer edges and the perimeter of the front flap. The flap is secured by a central snap-fastener, adorned with a decorative brass-toned stud. Affixed to the left side of the flap is a circular brass U.S. Army enlisted man’s collar insignia, featuring the raised characters ‘U.S.’ followed by periods. The interior is lined with a contrasting green suede-effect material and includes a single internal sleeve.
