A traditional English Windsor rocking chair constructed from beech? and elm? with a double-bow back. The backrest incorporates a central vertical splat pierced with three wheel motifs, flanked by eight slender turned spindles. The shaped armrests are supported by turned spindles and are set into a solid, saddle-shaped seat showing a pronounced grain. The chair is raised on turned legs connected by a turned H-stretcher, all secured to curved wooden rockers. The construction demonstrates characteristic regional furniture techniques including steam-bent hoops and turned elements finished in a warm amber tone.
