A collection of ceremonial fraternal regalia associated with the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) and the Grand Lodge of England (GLE). The group comprises three ribbed silk collars in red and blue, featuring gold-thread embroidery of a stylized monogram and the characters GLE. The red collar includes a circular blue enamel breast jewel inscribed ORDER OF MERIT and a suspended gilt-metal effect Maltese cross pendant. This pendant displays a central buffalo head within a blue enamel border inscribed NEMO MORTALIUM OMNIBUS HORIS SAPIT, with the arms embossed ROYAL ANTEDILUVIAN BUFFALOES and GLE. The two blue collars signify the Primo degree, decorated with gilt-metal effect bars featuring buffalo heads and blue enamel scrolls reading PRIMO. Further attachments include circular gilt-metal effect and enamel jewels bearing the motto JUSTICE TRUTH PHILANTHROPY surrounding a central red and white monogram. One collar features an additional green enamel wreath pendant.
