A collection of six framed artworks comprising a variety of media including oil and watercolour. The suite includes a watercolour on paper depicting a timber-framed Tudor cottage with figures at a garden gate; a watercolour on paper of a stone church and water pump inscribed THORPE SALVIN above a signature reading G. S. Codner; an oil on board genre painting of a money changer in Renaissance attire at a desk with a mechanical press; an oil or acrylic on board showing an industrial potteries landscape with bottle kilns under a dramatic orange sky; a print or watercolour of a rustic interior with two figures; and a further framed landscape? which is partially obscured. The works are housed in gilt effect frames, several featuring card mounts. The watercolour of the church is inscribed THORPE SALVIN and signed G. S. Codner.
