A pair of cased medals comprising a fraternal order jewel and a life saving proficiency award. The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (R.A.O.B.) breast jewel is of eight-pointed radiant star form in gilt-metal effect, mounted with a blue enameled garter bearing the motto PALMA NON SINE PULVERE. The centre features a stylized RAOB monogram in red, white, and blue enamel. This is suspended from a light blue silk ribbon carrying three dated bars reading 12.1.25, 29.12.30, and 12.1.33, with a foliate scroll suspension and a header bar inscribed ROLL OF HONOR surmounted by a crown. The interior case lid is printed MANUFACTURED FOR THE R.A.O.B. BY The Usher Manufacturing Co. JEWELLERS, SILVERSMITHS, MEDALLISTS Vittoria Works, Vittoria Street, Birmingham. The second item is a circular bronzed medal for the Royal Life Saving Society, depicting a rescue scene and inscribed ROYAL LIFE SAVING SOCIETY · ESTABLISHED 1891.
