A 9ct yellow gold necklace featuring a pendant of modernist, organic form. The pendant is constructed from a sweeping, openwork teardrop-shaped frame with a polished finish, housing a single centrally set round pearl. The pearl displays a creamy-white body colour with a high surface lustre and is securely mounted within the gold setting. The pendant is suspended by a simple jump ring from a fine curb link chain. The necklace is fastened with a circular spring ring clasp. An elongated rectangular metal tag is attached near the clasp, bearing stamped characters that are not clearly legible. The metal throughout exhibits a warm yellow gold tone with some visible surface wear consistent with age.
