A vintage 9ct yellow gold pendant necklace featuring a teardrop-shaped shell cameo. The cameo is relief-carved with a profile of a woman with detailed, upswept hair, set against a brown ground. The shell is secured within a 9ct yellow gold mount, bordered by an inner twisted-wire rim and an outer scalloped or piecrust edge. The pendant is suspended by a bail featuring indistinct marks to the side, attached to a fine curb link chain. The chain is fastened with a spring ring clasp. The jump ring adjacent to the clasp bears a small oval stamp reading 375, alongside a further illegible mark.
