The set comprises various base metal denominations including a Five Pounds crown, a bi-metallic Two Pounds coin, a One Pound coin, both old large and new smaller types of the Fifty Pence coin, Twenty Pence, Ten Pence, Five Pence, Two Pence, and One Penny coins. The Five Pounds commemorative crown reverse displays conjoined shields and an anchor with the inscription 1947 20 NOVEMBER 1997 FIVE POUNDS. A rectangular commemorative plaque is included, embossed with a crown and Elizabeth R 1997.
