A collection of white metal decorative and functional tableware. The group features a novelty shaker? or flask? modelled as a policeman wearing a pith helmet, alongside a pair of vessels shaped as riding boots. The set further comprises a pair of ornate candlesticks featuring gadrooned and foliate decoration to the bases and nozzles, a large rectangular reticulated basket with a swing handle, and a tall cylindrical wine coaster with a mesh-patterned body. Also included is a five-division arched toast rack on a rectangular base with a central ring handle, a set of circular coasters with chased decoration housed in a matching tiered stand, and two slender trumpet-shaped vases with weighted bases. The assortment is completed by an ornate oval tray with a chased foliate centre and beaded rim, three circular plates of varying sizes, a small scalloped-edge tray, a large tankard with a scroll handle, two small footed goblets, a twin-handled lidded sugar basin, and a spherical mesh tea infuser. The undersides of several pieces bear various impressed marks and monograms which are not legible as specific names.
