A Royal Albert fine bone china partial tea and dinner service in the Old Country Roses pattern. Each piece is finished with a heavily stippled gilt metal effect scalloped rim. The collection includes dinner plates, side plates, saucers, fruit bowls, and teacups of the traditional Montrose shape. The set is accompanied by a cream jug, an open sugar bowl, and a heart-shaped trinket box featuring an applied ceramic floral lid. A three-tier gilt metal effect cake stand handle is also included. The bases of the ceramic pieces bear printed marks in a floral cartouche, featuring the factory name Royal Albert and the pattern name Old Country Roses.
