A Parker Sonnet writing instrument set comprising a fountain pen and a matching ballpoint pen. Each piece is constructed with a metal body finished in a mottled forest green lacquer, often termed verdigris laque?, accented with gilt metal effect clips and cap bands. The fountain pen is fitted with a gilt metal effect nib featuring a fine tip and utilizes a cartridge filling system. The matching ballpoint pen employs a twist-action deployment mechanism. The set is housed in a grey Parker presentation box with a cream fabric lining. The gilt metal effect cap bands are inscribed PARKER SONNET FRANCE III I, providing a date code for early 1994. The nib is stamped PARKER alongside a circled arrow device and the letter F. The interior of the box lid is printed with the brand name and arrow logo in gold-toned lettering.
