A dark brown leather choker of dual-textured construction, featuring a square sterling silver buckle with ornate foliate and scrollwork decoration. The strap is crafted from leather with two distinct embossed patterns: one section displays a large-scale crocodile effect, while the other features a fine-grain lizard-skin pattern. The buckle is secured by a small flat-head screw to the reverse. The reverse of the metal buckle bears several stamped marks including a lozenge-shaped mark containing 925 and a balance scale symbol, a circular mark containing the letter C, a small rectangular mark reading MADE IN ITALY, and a standalone letter K. An additional mark comprising the letters GL within a chamfered rectangular frame is positioned at the upper right corner, adjacent to two further indistinct hallmarks within a lozenge and a circle.
