A Royal Doulton ceramic figurine from the Bunnykins series, depicting the Sheriff of Nottingham from The Robin Hood Collection. The rabbit character is hand-decorated, wearing a charcoal-grey cloak over a cream tunic and breeches, accented with yellow-gold trim and a gold-coloured chain of office. He wears black boots and stands upon a textured circular base modelled to resemble stony ground. The underside of the base features a comprehensive black printed backstamp reading HAND MADE AND HAND DECORATED Bunnykins by ROYAL DOULTON SHERIFF OF NOTTINGHAM BUNNYKINS THE ROBIN HOOD COLLECTION DB 265 MADE IN ENGLAND and © 2002 ROYAL DOULTON. The mark also includes a small symbol resembling two gloved hands and hand-painted notations in black reading L1 and a small numeral 4.
