A collection of white metal and stainless steel flatware, including a cased set of six spoons and a pair of sugar tongs. The cased pieces feature twisted stems terminating in figural finials in the Apostle style. They are presented in a black leatherette case with a blue velvet and satin-lined interior, which is gold-stamped J.H. POTTER, MANUFACTURING-SILVERSMITH, SHEFFIELD. The lot also contains a large quantity of loose flatware comprising dinner and dessert forks, table and dessert knives, and various serving pieces. Many knives are constructed with stainless steel blades and cream-coloured ivorine? handles. Readable marks on individual pieces include UNITY SHEFFIELD beneath a circular logo and ALFRED REILLY, SHEFFIELD, STAINLESS. Various items bear marks associated with plated finishes.
