A pair of cast brass decorative miniatures comprising a donkey figurine. The stand is designed in the manner of a miniature tripod table, featuring a circular top with a pierced lattice pattern, potentially intended for the suspension or display of a pocket watch??. It is supported by a baluster-turned central stem and three out-swept, scrolled legs, one of which is shaped to allow the piece to sit at a slight angle. The donkey figurine is cast in a seated or reclining pose, with long, upright ears and textured detailing across the body. Both pieces exhibit a naturally aged patina with surface tarnish throughout and green oxidation to the recessed areas of the lattice top.
