A group of five porcelain collector plates from The Cottage series, produced by Royal Doulton for the Franklin Mint. Each plate features a romanticised English pastoral scene by artist Andres Orpinas, depicting thatched cottages within vibrant flower gardens. The plates are designed with scalloped edges and a gilded rim. The collection is accompanied by five original paper Certificates of Authenticity, featuring a decorative blue border and the Royal Doulton logo. The certificates are titled: Royal Doulton CHERRY TREE COTTAGE Certificate of Authenticity; Royal Doulton THE COTTAGE ON ROSETREE POND Certificate of Authenticity; Royal Doulton THE COTTAGE ON DAISY LANE Certificate of Authenticity; Royal Doulton THE COTTAGE ON SWAN LAKE Certificate of Authenticity; and Royal Doulton THE COTTAGE ON LILAC BEND Certificate of Authenticity. Each plate is fitted with a white-coated wire wall-mounting hanger.
