A collection of approximately 15 cast resin anthropomorphic rabbit figurines from ‘The Woodlanders’ series. Each piece features a hand-painted matte finish with a textured surface designed to simulate the appearance of carved wood. The figures are depicted in various whimsical domestic and seasonal poses, including a rabbit lounging in a bubble-filled bathtub, a figure dressed in a red Father Christmas costume, a rabbit wearing a long pink scarf, and another seated while eating a boiled egg. Several figurines retain their original manufacturer labels on the underside. One green rectangular label reads ‘WOODLANDER’, ”THOUGHTFUL”, ‘Made in England’. Another label identifies the manufacturer as ‘Hand Made by MERESIDE ARTWARE’ from ‘The Piggery; Pilling; Fylde; Lancashire; England’. One specific model is identified by a label as ‘Wally’. The lot includes a printed cardboard insert marked with ‘THE WOODLANDERS’ and the phrase ‘Love Me’.
