An assortment of glazed ceramic animal figurines and a decorative woodland-themed vessel. The collection includes two substantial elephant figurines in walking poses with raised trunks, finished in a mottled cream and tan glaze with brown streaked texturing. Two further African animals comprise a hippopotamus and a rhinoceros, each featuring a smooth, semi-matte dark brown finish. Domestic subjects include a German Shepherd dog in black and tan markings and a Rough Collie in sable and white, both with high-gloss glazed finishes. A pair of white birds is depicted together on a single base with a gloss white finish. The lot is completed by a decorative jug or spill vase fashioned as a gnarled tree trunk with green foliate accents and an applied fawn figurine emerging from a hollow in the bark.
