Fine porcelain teacup and saucer sets featuring hand-painted decoration and gilding. The first set consists of a pedestal-form cup with a high-arched gilded scroll handle and a matching scalloped saucer, finished with a vibrant yellow ground and hand-painted floral sprays including pink roses and yellow blossoms within gilded foliate borders. The second set features a wide-welled cup and matching saucer, each decorated to the interior and face with a naturalistic study of a cock pheasant in a landscape setting. The rims are finished with a graduated moss-green and ochre wash, overlaid with a delicate gilt-printed foliate scroll border.
