A pair of offset lithographs on paper by the British wildlife artist Stephen Gayford. The first work, titled White Menace, depicts a white tiger amongst dense green foliage. The second work, titled I’m Sure its This Way, features a small cat cub within tall, golden-hued grasses. Both pieces include a printed remarque in the lower right margin, showing the head of a tiger and a cat cub respectively. The prints are mounted behind glass in matching contemporary moulded wood? / composite? frames with a gilt metal effect finish. The lower right margin of the tiger print is inscribed in pencil Stephen Gayford and 271/1100, alongside the printed title “White Menace”. The cat cub print is similarly inscribed in pencil Stephen Gayford and 208/1100, with the printed title “I’m Sure its This Way”. Both images also feature a printed signature Stephen Gayford within the plate.
