A Hadeland? Glassverk art glass vase of the Furu pattern, featuring a flared, organic form with a dramatic and undulating handkerchief-style rim. The vessel is constructed from vibrant cobalt blue glass, with an exterior surface that is heavily textured. This decoration consists of a radiating, feathered motif originating from the base, which gives the piece a distinctive shell-like or sea-anemone appearance. The interior of the vase is smooth, contrasting with the tactile quality of the outer walls, and the intense blue colour is consistent throughout the thick, folded glass.
