A mid-century modern? plaque featuring a hand-painted vitreous enamel landscape. The scene depicts a vibrant autumnal setting with a central tree in shades of orange and yellow, a white horse drinking at a pond, and a red-roofed cottage in the distance. The enamel application is thick and textured, creating an impasto-like quality against the copper substrate. The piece is signed in black script H. STONE to the lower right corner. The reverse reveals the oxidised copper base and an aged paper label with the handwritten text 6” x 8” #832.
