A British-made Timex manual wind mechanical wristwatch featuring a day-date complication, dating to circa 1974. The timepiece is housed in a gold plated? base metal case with a stainless steel snap-on case back. The bronze-toned dial is decorated with a vertical tapestry texture and a prominent central stripe. It features applied baton hour markers and a dual aperture for day and date at the 3 o’clock position. The gold-tone hour and minute hands are accented with a red central stripe, paired with a matching red sweep seconds hand. The dial is printed with TIMEX at the 9 o’clock position, and the base is printed with GREAT BRITAIN alongside the reference numbers 27750 and 02774. The stainless steel back is stamped twice with the words STAINLESS STEEL BACK in a circular orientation. The watch is fitted to a black leather-effect strap with a crocodile embossed pattern and a gilt metal effect pin buckle.
