This lot comprises three framed artworks including a mountainous landscape, an Asian garden scene, and a fruit still life. The first work is an oil painting on board depicting a wooden trestle bridge spanning a river in a wooded, mountainous landscape. It is signed M.B. TURNER in the upper right corner in dark block letters. The second item is a large-format Chinese ink and watercolour painting on silk, depicting seven female figures in traditional hanfu on a terrace. The scene includes a scholar’s rock, a weeping willow, and a pond with lily pads. A calligraphic inscription in black ink is located at the upper left, featuring the characters 長夜悠悠, followed by additional characters that are not clearly legible, and a square artist’s seal stamped in red ink. The third piece is a still-life print of grapes, peaches, and plums, signed J. S. [illegible] and dated 1988 in the upper right corner; the surname is not legible as a name. All three works are housed in decorative gilt-finished frames.
