This lot comprises three 20th-century decorative porcelain vases of baluster form. The group features a matching pair of large vases with a deep cobalt blue ground, decorated with polychrome enamel depictions of long-tailed birds perched among flowering peonies and prunus branches. The necks of these vases are encircled by a yellow band featuring pink and green floral motifs, and the bases are finished with a stylized green and black leaf border. The interior and underside of the pair are white-glazed. The third piece is a smaller baluster-form vase decorated in the Imari style, utilizing a palette of underglaze cobalt blue, overglaze iron-red, and gilt highlights. Its body is divided into lobed panels containing stylized floral landscapes with gnarled trees, and the interior rim is decorated with small iron-red floral sprigs. No maker marks or inscriptions are visible on any of the pieces.
