This collection comprises three pieces of English moulded earthenware produced by SylvaC (Shaw & Copestake). The first item is a fan-shaped vase with a glossy yellow glaze, featuring vertical ribbing and a scalloped rim, set on a stepped, ribbed pedestal base. The underside is incised with the model number 2456 and the maker mark SylvaC, Made in England. The second item is a fluted fan-form vase in a glossy cream glaze, featuring two scrolled handles at the rim and standing on a pedestal base. The base is incised with the model number 418 L and the maker mark SylvaC, Made in England. The third item is a rectangular planter moulded as a hollowed-out log, finished with a mottled bark glaze in shades of brown, green, and tan. The front features a small circular opening containing a moulded figure of a small animal. The underside bears a brown transfer-printed factory mark with stylized SylvaC script in a circular scroll.
