This lot comprises a Bareuther Waldsassen porcelain tea service featuring a brilliant 22-carat gold-lustre finish to the exterior and a white glaze to the interior. The service includes a teapot with a black composite handle and finial, a lidded sugar bowl, a cream jug, several teacups, and a stack of saucers. The bases are marked with a green printed Handpainted mark above a crown and shield logo, 22 Carat Gold, and Germany. The lot also contains a large earthenware teapot with a brown and cream mottled drip-glaze and gilded accents to the handle, spout, and lid. Additionally, there is a Japanese porcelain teacup with a gold-washed interior and ornate moriage enamelled exterior depicting a figure in a circular cartouche, and a porcelain teacup and saucer set with a cobalt blue border and hand-painted floral bouquets. The collection is presented in a large rectangular wicker basket.
