A group of upcycled drinking vessels, vintage trade cards, and philatelic items. The glassware comprises a set of four green glass stemmed drinking vessels repurposed from Grolsch beer bottles. The top sections of the bottles have been cut and mounted onto circular glass bases, creating a goblet-like form. Each vessel bears the embossed cursive mark Grolsch on the main body. The collection of vintage trade cards was produced by John Player and Sons and is housed in four clear plastic pocket sleeves. The cards feature various nature-themed series including birds and plants with visible titles such as Skylark, Swallow, Robin, Blue Tit, Thrush, Thistle, Red Rose, and Shamrock, as well as heraldic-style shields with animals and flags. Also included is a Royal Mail Animal Tales – Favourite children’s book animals mint stamp presentation pack featuring characters such as Peter Rabbit, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and The Gruffalo. The lot is accompanied by two black powder-coated perforated metal modular display stands featuring decorative cutout patterns. A black permanent marker is included for scale.
