A 9ct yellow gold expansion bangle of split-band construction. The piece features an adjustable mechanism consisting of two sliding loop terminals which allow the bangle to expand to fit over the hand. Half of the exterior circumference is finished with a plain, polished surface, while the overlapping section is decorated with an engraved foliate scroll pattern. The interior surface exhibits faint indentations, although no clear hallmarks or maker’s marks are legible.
