A complete set of 90 collector trading cards titled Sexy Robots and Pinups, featuring the artwork of Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama. The set was produced in 1993 by Comic Images, Saddle Brook, New Jersey, and designed by McNabb Art Studio. Each card is produced via offset lithography on glossy cardstock. The collection features hyper-realistic airbrushed illustrations characteristic of Sorayama style, depicting metallic gynoids and human pin-up models in various stylised, eroticised poses. Themes within the set include science fiction, cyberpunk, and classical pin-up motifs, as well as mythological figures such as mermaids and angels. The set includes the full sequence from card 1 through 90, featuring a variety of titled works and two checklist cards. The reverse of each card provides a title for the individual illustration, copyright information for Hajime Sorayama, and publishing credits for Comic Images. The cards are currently stored in transparent plastic multi-pocket protective sheets.
