This Edwardian Sheraton Revival display cabinet is constructed from mahogany with boxwood stringing and satinwood marquetry inlays. The cabinet features a stepped, moulded cornice above two large glazed doors. A central horizontal rail across the doors is decorated with a marquetry panel depicting a classical urn flanked by scrolling foliated swags. The doors are fitted with decorative astragal glazing bars arranged in an interlaced arch pattern. Internally, the cabinet is fitted with multiple vertical wooden partitions, creating a series of narrow slots. The piece includes side sections with small drawers at the base featuring circular brass drop handles. The hardware consists of brass keyhole escutcheons and includes keys adorned with tassels. The cabinet appears to be of single-piece construction.
