A Victorian style figured mahogany Sutherland table. The top features a narrow fixed central section with book-matched flame mahogany veneers, flanked by two deep drop leaves with decorative serpentine butterfly shaped edges. The table is supported by a trestle-style base consisting of two scroll-shaped end supports joined by a low-profile shaped stretcher. Two turned mahogany gate-legs swing out to support the leaves when fully extended.
