A vintage cast metal novelty money bank designed in the form of a standing bear. The figure is modelled standing upright on its hind legs with the front paws resting against the chest. The construction consists of a two-part casting joined by a single flat-head screw located in the centre of the back. A horizontal coin slot is positioned on the upper back behind the head. The piece has a brass-coloured finish over a cast metal base, featuring a textured surface to represent fur.
