A Sheaffer Prelude writing instrument set comprising a ballpoint pen and a matching mechanical pencil. Both instruments feature a glossy black lacquer finish over a metal body, accented with polished chrome-plated trim. The ballpoint pen utilises a twist-action deployment mechanism and is fitted with a tapered conical nose cone. The mechanical pencil is of a matching design and features a fixed lead sleeve tip. Both pieces are fitted with characteristic chrome-plated clips, each bearing the Sheaffer White Dot symbol of quality near the top. The set is housed in its original black high-gloss presentation case which features a cream-coloured leatherette-style interior. The interior lid is printed in silver with the Sheaffer logo and the script text The Signature Pen.
Instruments measure approximately 130mm to 135mm in length.
