This collection features a variety of ceramic and stoneware items, including advertising decanters, commemorative jugs, and decorative figures. A notable piece is an Andrew Usher and Co. green-glazed stoneware whisky decanter from Edinburgh, featuring a relief-moulded royal coat of arms with the mottoes Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense and Dieu Et Mon Droit. Also included is a salt-glazed stoneware jug commemorating the centenary of Admiral Lord Nelson (1805-1905), decorated with a transfer-printed portrait, blue-glazed rim, and relief-moulded floral and rope motifs. The lot contains a salt-glazed tavern jug with a two-tone brown and tan finish and sprigged windmill scenes, and a small brown-glazed lidded jar. The character jugs include a large king figure with a purple and yellow crown, a traditional seated Toby jug in a blue coat and yellow waistcoat, and two small face pots. Other items include a large textured ceramic dog bust, a small agateware style pot with a blue interior and frilled rim, a small white reclining figure, a ceramic skull on a circular base, and a large ribbed earthenware vessel with a significant irregular aperture.
