An assortment of glazed ceramic decorative pieces comprising Staffordshire-style flatback figures, humorous Victorian fairings, and various figurines. The collection includes a large Highland piper depicted in a blue jacket and tartan kilt with white bagpipes; a standing lady in a pink bodice and green-feathered hat with a black and white dog at her feet; and a stag and doe spill vase featuring a tree-trunk-form vessel, a seated female figure in a pink dress, and applied bocage decoration. The Victorian fairings include a bed scene with the hand-painted cursive inscription The last in bed to put out the light and a group depicting two children in a shell-shaped boat. Further pieces consist of two seated female figures in voluminous black dresses and red-trimmed bonnets on ribbed tan bases, a musician in a green jacket, a small recumbent deer, and an 18th-century style dancing couple with two rabbits at the base. The dancing couple figure bears a hand-painted mark on the underside consisting of a hash symbol and two stylized characters. The items are manufactured from glazed earthenware and porcelain-type bodies with overglaze enamel finishes.
