A seven-piece Imperial Porcelain vanity or toilet set manufactured by Wedgwood and Co. Ltd. of Tunstall, England. The set is decorated in a traditional late Victorian or early Edwardian style, featuring a cobalt blue border heavily overlaid with stippled gilding and floral motifs. This is complemented by transfer-printed swags of pink roses connected by grey scrollwork and chain-link patterns. The set comprises a handled chamber pot, a large hexagonal vanity tray, three lidded trinket jars of varying sizes, a pedestal candlestick holder, and a ring tree. The smaller vessels and bases of the standing pieces feature a distinctive hexagonal form. The base of the pieces bears a green printed manufacturer mark consisting of a crown within a circular arrangement of text reading IMPERIAL PORCELAIN.. with WEDGWOOD and Cº L and ENGLAND printed below. A small numeral 2 is also present.
