A large mixed lot comprising various silver and silver-plated items. The collection includes a magnifying glass with a long, faceted cut-glass handle and white metal frame; a pair of nesting rectangular trays with gadrooned borders; a shaped card or pen tray; two circular dishes, one featuring central repoussé decoration; and an oval dish. Decorative and functional objects include two lidded boxes with ornate repoussé floral and foliate motifs, a small sauce boat on three hoof feet, two miniature vessels in the form of riding boots, a tea strainer, and a selection of flatware including spoons and forks. Hollowware items consist of a creamer, a small goblet, and a pair of trumpet-shaped bud vases. Dining accessories include multiple napkin rings of diverse designs, a small circular salt cellar with a cobalt blue glass liner, and a blue glass liner within a pierced frame. Also present is a lidded mustard pot with a domed lid. Several pieces show signs of the base metal through the silver plating. Maker’s marks and hallmarks are present on several items, including the trays and lidded boxes, but are not clearly legible due to tarnishing and image resolution.
