A lot comprising two white glazed ceramic items, likely ironstone or fine earthenware. The first item is a large footed bowl featuring broad vertical fluted decoration to the body, terminating in a scalloped rim. It stands on a conforming lobed and fluted pedestal foot. The second item is a domed lid decorated with tight diagonal spiral fluting and a raised beaded border along the rim, finished with a small rounded finial. While complementary in colour and glaze, the differing fluting patterns indicate these items may be from separate suites. There are no maker’s marks or factory stamps visible to either piece.
