Two vintage 8mm home movie film boxes originating from the mid-20th century. The first, titled XL7 Saucy Susan, is a square format box from the Unique Glamour Films series. It features a black and white offset lithograph label of a model in lingerie with a hand mirror. Printed information includes 50 ft. 8 m.m., Adults Only, and a pre-decimal price of 30 shillings. The second, titled F18 Maid in Distress, is a smaller format box from the Films Striptease Artistique series. This box features bilingual text in French and English, including the description avec les plus jolis modeles de Paris and a warning prohibiting sale to persons under 21. Both items are designed for 50ft 8mm film reels and are characteristic of adult ephemera marketed in the United Kingdom prior to 1971.
