A glazed porcelain figurine of a heron, depicted in a downward-facing pose perched upon a tree stump with stylized reeds at the base. The piece is finished in a palette of pale blue, grey, and cream glazes with brown tones to the stump, all under a high-gloss finish. The bird features a distinctive crest and a long, slender beak. The underside of the base is unglazed and features a circular aperture and a small, torn rectangular remnant of a paper label. No factory marks, signatures, or incised numbers are visible.
