Parker 51 two-piece writing instrument set comprising a fountain pen and matching mechanical pencil. Both instruments are constructed with black Lucite resin barrels and brushed stainless steel caps, known as Lustraloy. The caps feature gold-toned feathered arrow clips. The fountain pen has a hooded nib, with the visible tip appearing to be 14 carat gold. The mechanical pencil features a tip with gold-toned decorative bands. Both caps are marked around the lip with PARKER MADE IN ENGLAND. The set is contained within a zippered case with a cream satin lining stamped Parker 51 in gold-coloured lettering. The fountain pen is of the Aerometric era, likely featuring a squeeze-filling mechanism.
