The dial is decorated with black Roman numerals and three ornate black hands of spade design. Above the six o’clock position, the dial is printed with the word QUARTZ. Accompanying the clock is a square decorative dish constructed from heavy, textured glass with a central recessed square well. The well displays a faint aqua-blue tint, and each corner is embellished with a frosted grey-toned Celtic knot motif. The underside of the dish features a stippled orange-peel finish.
