A Princess pattern white metal tea and coffee service of ornate Rococo Revival form. The set comprises a teapot, a coffee pot, a twin-handled lidded sugar bowl, a cream jug, and a large footed rectangular tray. Each holloware vessel features a lobed bulbous body decorated with C-scroll handles and raised on four foliate scroll feet. The pots are finished with high-domed hinged lids and decorative cast finials. The rectangular tray displays a central field of chased foliate and scroll motifs, surrounded by a pierced gallery with shell and scroll designs and integral handles. The external cardboard packaging is printed with a hexagonal logo containing the words Silver Plated and the text Silver-Plated Princess 4 Pcs Tea & Coffee Set With Footed Rectangular Tray. A small white adhesive label is present to one corner reading A5531. The items are retained within their original factory polystyrene inserts and plastic wrapping.
