A set of eight clear glass highball tumblers featuring various characters from D.C. Thomson publications. The collection comprises three glasses depicting Korky the Cat, three glasses featuring Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, and two glasses illustrating Desperate Dan. Each vessel is of cylindrical form with a thickened base and is decorated with vibrant multi-coloured screen-printed transfers. The Dennis the Menace glasses feature a circular logo to the reverse reading DENNIS the MENACE and GNASHER. The Desperate Dan glasses include illustrations of a cow pie and cacti with the text DESPERATE DAN and COW PIE. The Korky the Cat glasses include the text KORKY the Cat. Each glass is marked at the base of the character illustration with a printed black copyright notice reading © D.C. THOMSON & CO., LTD. 1989.
