A mid-20th century brass? model of an Avro Lancaster four-engine heavy bomber. The object is constructed in a slotted-plate or flat-pack style from sheet brass, featuring intersecting sections for the fuselage, wings, and H-tail configuration. The upper surfaces of the wings are decorated with incised concentric circles representing Royal Air Force roundels, alongside linear detailing indicating the ailerons and flaps. The four engine nacelles are similarly slotted through the main wing plane. Incised concentric circles are present on both wingtips, though no legible maker’s marks, stamps, or inscriptions are visible. The absence of landing gear and the inclusion of mounting holes suggests the model was intended for wall mounting or was originally fitted to a display stand.
