A collection of British Army surplus load-bearing equipment and body armour components, primarily from the Osprey Mark 4 (Mk IV) system. The lot includes various components in Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) and woodland Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM).
Visible items include several Osprey Mk IV shoulder covers (brassards) in MTP. One shoulder cover features a sewn-on Union Jack tactical recognition flash. Labels on these components identify them as “OSPREY MKIV (MTP) COVER SHOULDER” with National Stock Number (NSN) 8470-99-480-8041, dated 2010.
The collection also contains black ballistic nylon-covered soft armour fillers intended for use within the Osprey collar and brassard covers. A visible label on one insert reads “Filler Osprey Half Collar”, “NATO Stock No: 8470-99-480-8056”, dated “26/05/2009”, with “Contract No: DC1A/1032”. These fillers include printed warnings stating “IMPORTANT THIS SIDE MUST FACE THE BODY”.
Included in the lot is a woodland DPM mesh-backed load-carrying vest featuring multiple integrated pouches with plastic Fastex buckle closures. Additionally, there are assorted MTP utility pouches designed for attachment to the Osprey system via the MOLLE interface. All components feature standard military-grade materials, including Cordura nylon, heavy-duty webbing, and plastic hardware.
